YOUR DATA, CLEARLY EXPLAINED

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information MyPlannerAI handles, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Effective September 10, 2026

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create or manage an account, including your email address, display name, and authentication details handled by our account provider. We also store the content you choose to add to your workspace, such as tasks, schedules, boards, notes, preferences, and AI context settings.

If you purchase a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment information. We receive limited billing records such as your plan, subscription status, customer identifier, and transaction status; we do not store full payment-card details.

2. Connected services

If you connect Google Calendar, we receive your account label, list of calendars, and authorization to read and manage events. We cache events from the calendars you select so we can display commitments, avoid scheduling conflicts, and synchronize linked planner tasks. Event data may include titles, descriptions, dates, times, and calendar identifiers. Connection credentials are encrypted. Sync runs while your workspace is open or when you request it. You can disconnect in calendar settings; this removes stored credentials and cached events from MyPlannerAI and leaves existing events in Google Calendar. You can also revoke access in your Google Account. Calendar export files are created only when you ask for them.

Optional website analytics and the guest planner

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics measures visits and a small set of interactions on public pages: building a free plan, copying or exporting it, and clicking to start a workspace. We send public page paths, not query strings, task titles, note text, calendar content, email addresses, or account identifiers. Analytics may use cookies and process device, browser, approximate location, and referral information. Advertising features are disabled. Declining analytics does not affect the planner. You can change your choice using Cookie preferences on public pages. A browser Global Privacy Control signal defaults analytics to declined.

The guest timebox planner runs in your browser without an account. Its task list is not uploaded or sent to AI, and uses local browser storage to keep each task for seven days from its creation. Expired tasks are removed when the planner runs; editing does not extend retention. Clearing site data removes them sooner. This storage is necessary to provide the guest planner and is separate from optional analytics. After signing in, you may explicitly import remaining browser tasks into your account, including a free account. Signed-in tasks are saved to your account with no seven-day expiry; clearing browser data does not delete that saved account copy. Copying or exporting places a copy on your clipboard or device at your request. Essential authentication and security cookies are separate from optional analytics.

3. AI features

When you use an AI feature, we send the prompt and only the workspace context allowed by your current privacy settings to our AI provider so it can generate a response or plan. MyPlannerAI configures these requests not to be stored by the AI API where that option is available. You remain responsible for reviewing AI suggestions before applying them.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, synchronize your workspace, process subscriptions, operate connected features, personalize settings, answer support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose reliability issues, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use private planner content for targeted advertising.

5. When information is shared

We share information only as needed with service providers that help operate MyPlannerAI, including account authentication and database hosting, infrastructure hosting, payment processing, optional calendar integration, and AI processing. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Retention and security

To help recover interrupted writing, this browser keeps temporary copies of unsaved notes for your account. Matching copies are removed after a successful save. If writing could not be saved, you can recover or discard the local copy in Notes. Clearing site data in your browser removes these local recovery copies.

We retain account and workspace information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet financial or legal obligations, and maintain security records. We use access controls, server-side ownership checks, encrypted connections, and encryption for supported integration credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete workspace content, change the context available to AI, disconnect integrations, and manage or cancel a paid plan through the billing portal. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. Contact us to make a privacy request; we may need to verify your identity.

8. International processing and children

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. MyPlannerAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions or requests can be sent to hello@myplannerai.com.
